		<description>These are nearly the same pointers one would give for applying for a job (with the exception of "don't have mom and dad sit in on the interview" -- that's a given!) Great advice and keep it in mind as you apply for other sought-after spots in life. With an increased focus on personal, casual interactions in our society (with email, Facebook, texting, Tweeting, etc.) some people are losing sight of WHAT is appropriate WHEN. Remember to keep it professional when you aren't communicating with your friends and especially in situations where you're being judged professionally or academically.</description>
