I enjoyed your post. It is a good thing to be homesick a little because it means you've come from a good place and you can return to one. Focus on the positive meaning behind that rather than the negative state of being homesick and then get on with college life. I also like how you talk about pressure, especially the pressure to be having a great time and having the best 4 years of your life. This is way overdone! College may just end up being the best years of your life, but do we say that as if it is a good thing? Sure, it is great that college is a wonderful experience, but we should be striving to have the best years of our lives always. There's a wonderful future to look forward to as well. Live in the moment, don't get stuck in the past, look forward to the future.
