		<description>I agree that one of the best ways to find scholarships is to start locally.  The local scholarships tend to have less competition, and they want to give money to local students.  Try Chambers of Commerce, Rotary Clubs, Kiwanis Clubs, etc.  Also, check and see if your state has a department of higher education.  Often they will keep a list of local community foundations, which tend to manage a large number of scholarships.  Finally, look for college-based scholarships, because they tend to be larger and renewable.  Good luck!</description>
