It's important for people to know you can get a great education outside the Ivy League and that the Ivy schools may not always be the best fit for people. But I do want to draw people's attention to the fact that some Ivy schools are actually the most affordable option for students. I'm a student at Yale and one of my biggest reasons for coming here was the generous financial aid package. Here's info about Yale's new financial aid policy http://www.yale.edu/admit/freshmen/financial_aid/index.html. I believe some of the other ivies are doing this as well.

So for students who think they want to go to an Ivy League school but are afraid of the cost, don't let the "sticker price" get in your way.
